KIE Project Developer Center

If you're going to be developing or altering KIE projects (the primary curriculum unit in KIE) you'll find this page useful in getting you to the resources you need.

The best way to build a project is to start from an existing KIE project that is most similar to the one you want to build. (If you don't know what projects already exist, see our Curriculum Library . Make sure to run them in the KIE software, which can be downloaded.)

You can then use our custom software, the KIE Project Manager (which can be downloaded) to change the specific activities and guidance of the project. You'll need to find evidence on the web and create KIE evidence pages, using the KIE Evidence Manager. And you'll use our SenseMaker software (which can also be downloaded) to organize the evidence.

Full details about planning a project, as well as using Project Manager, SenseMaker and the Evidence Manager are provided in the KIE Developer's Guide.

In addition, before developing your project, you may want to visit the Teacher Center, to get more information about issues relating to teaching with KIE.

We also recommend that you become a KIE Partner. For more information, see our Partnerships page.
