KIE Teacher Partnerships

As a teacher, you are always welcome to use our software in your classroom. In addition, there are a number of ways to participate in our growing network of KIE teachers:

  • Develop a project. If you have an idea for a new KIE project that you would like to use in your classroom, we can help you get started and, if desired, try to partner you with a scientist or other content provider who shares your interests.

  • If you develop and use a new KIE project, please share it with others by letting us know so we can add it to our curriculum library.

  • Share your KIE experiences. SpeakEasy is a place for teachers and other project participants to discuss the issues that are important to you as you work with KIE. In addition, we are always looking for KIE teachers to share their experiences in the First Person section of this website; contact us for details.

  • Collaborate with another classroom. We would be happy to facilitate a partnership with another teacher or teachers to conduct KIE simultaneously in different classrooms. This coordination provides the benefit of joint planning, as well as letting your students use SpeakEasy to discuss relevant topics with students in another location.

Please contact us if you are interested in any of the above options.
