Welcome to the KIE Teacher Center

The Teacher Center is a place to explore how to use KIE in your classroom, find out how to get started, and get support from the KIE project team or other KIE teachers. If you're new to KIE, we recommend that you first get familiar with the basics of our learning environment and goals by taking the KIE Tour.

Resources available in the Teacher Center include:

    • Teaching issues related to your use of KIE in the classroom: how can you fit KIE with your curriculum and use it as a tool to promote knowledge integration for your students?

    • First Person accounts from KIE teachers, who will tell you about the benefits and challenges of using KIE, the teacher's role in a KIE classroom, and some of the techniques they have found to be successful in helping students learn.

    • Pointers to everything you need to get started using KIE

    • An online SpeakEasy discussion to let you meet with other KIE teachers and the KIE development team. Topics range from teaching tips to technical issues, or you can start one of your own.
